Today, I will be taking Jasmin Star's advice and challenge myself to 3 changes/goal's in my business this year. I'm always afraid of setting such challenges because of my fear of FAILING!! I am sure I'm the only person in the world that struggles with this, right?? Sense the hit of sarcasm?

It wasn't hard for me to come up with my 3 changes/goal's, as I have been pondering on them for sometime but wasn't sure I could make it happen before the year was out. 

My 3 changes/goal's to the business before December 31st!!

1. Purchase the Canon 5D Mark II.

2. Take a class/sign up for a workshop.

3. Work on a new website.

I'm excited to see how this all works out.

Today, I had the great honor of capturing his sweet moments as the angels danced around in his dreams. Liam's parents Shannon & Bill Eichorn are just head over heels in LOVE with their baby boy. Here is just a Sweet Peek of today. Hope you enjoy!!

I met Amy & Quinton at Starbucks to discuss the possiblitiy of photographing their wedding. We went over their vision for their big day as well as the engagement session. I remembered seeing the most amazing farm in Mooresville and knew that would be Part I of their session. It was so much fun chatting and getting to know each other that 2.5 hrs later we left Starbucks and I emailed them the link to the farm. Amy & Quinton said they were up for anything.

About two days later I received an email stating they had choosen us to photograph their wedding. They will be getting married at My Beloved Homewood in Ashville this October. We are honored to be able to capture their love for one another this coming fall.

It's going to be amazing!!

According to the news we suppose to have a dreary day but as it turned

out there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

Who would have thought there was a place this breath taking 30 mins outside of Charlotte?

Love cannot be measured or placed on a scale. It just is!

The day had finally come when I would meet Teka and Mel face to face. Teka and I had gone back and forth through email and text since they live 3.5 hrs away. She had come across the blog and decided it was worth driving from Charleston, SC all the way to Charlotte. I can't tell you how honored I felt and how my nerves kicked into over drive.

We touched base the day before our session and Teka said, "I must have that purple wall!!" I knew she was talking about Noda, so we met bright and early at Smelly Cat . There was also one funny request....she wanted to meet our son Levi. She caught a glimpse of him under our "Just Us" tab and fell in love (her words). What could we say??!! Levi was up and about with us at 7:30 a.m. He was all smiles as usual.

I was so excited and couldn't wait to meet them. We walked out into the parking lot and introduced ourselves and I knew immediately this was going to be one of funniest sessions ever!!!! We LOVE this couple and can't wait for them to come back so we can show them around town.
