Sweet Peek {Sincia & Alfonso}

I had the privilege of photographing my husband's parents during their first visit to our Queen City. They have been married for 42 years, raised 4 children and have 3 grandchildren. They met in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and made the Upper East Side home.
My goal in this session was to show that 42 years of marriage is possible in an age when "marriage" has been throw out the window and replaced with a"Hollywood love story" that seems to always end in divorce.
During their visit we went to the Billy Graham library and I heard Ruth Graham say "divorce never, murder, yes!" Sincia and Al have faced many life issues just as we do today and they just encouraged me to continue seeking the Lord in all things!!  Keep Jesus in the center of your marriage and hold on for the ride. Hope you enjoy this Love Bird session as much as I did.

Sweet Peek {Lyza Bivin}

What a morning it was with the lovely Bivin girls. We did begin at 8:30 a.m. and what toddler wants a camera pointed in their face? I decided I would just let her guide the session and she did it well. I love everything about this session.

Sweet Peek {Carina Bivin}

I always have so much fun photography children!  I know they are going to make me work for it and I'll sweat out a few pounds chasing them but in the end it's all worth it.  Carina was a pure delight as she just roamed about curiously as a toddler should. She was a ham when the camera was on her and you are sure to see it.

Sneak Peek
 {Shelby & Andrew}
Wedding Day
June 18, 2011

With amazing friends and family, Shelby & Andrew shared their wedding day in a cozy church in Waxhaw, NC.  It was a beautiful day for a wedding! The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and these two love birds could not wait to become husband and wife.

More to come......

Sneak Peak {Mr. Chasebakers}

My last photo session before I have to jump on a plane back to Charlotte, NC! I left this one for last for one of two reasons. The obvious is so I could eat all of these luscious desserts and the second is that I have not seen the owner of Mr.Chasebakers since high school and we desperately needed to catch up!!

Driving down the Grand Central Parkway trying hard not to get hit and also wondering why is everyone throwing up gang signs at me??!! Perhaps I've gotten used to the slow pace of the south and I'm driving under the speed limit. Sorry!!!!

Get a napkin or a towel because your mouth is to start watering!!
